What began as a hand bookbindery in 1921 by William and Florence Jackson,  soon expanded with the  purchase of presses for doing foil stamping and embossing to further serve area printers.

Today, the company operates from two  Rhode Island locations; one in Centerdale and the other in Smithfield .  

Today W. E. Jackson boasts the latest in foil stamping equipment, while retaining some of the older equipment for special projects and time honored renderings of the traditional craft.
